Obninsk Center for Science and Technologies (OSCT) is the biggest company of innovation infrastructure in Kaluga region.

OCST cooperates with local scientific and production companies in development and implementation of new technologies on the following key directions:
- Industrial equipment for NPP.
- New materials.
- Ecology.
- Medicine.

OCST advantage is in support and interconnection with R&D centers particularly with IPPE, world leader in the field of nuclear, laser and other high technologies, the city administration, RF Ministry on Atomic Energy and Ministry of Science and Technologies.

At the moment 40 % of all works are taken by creating prototypes, 50 % - implementation of new technologies. We also assist in marketing for the technologies, exhibitions, business planning.

By nowadays OCST carried out extensive work on development and production the prototypes of the following items:

• filters for NPP;
• installation for water ozonization;
• installation for utilization of radioactive liquid wastes;
• installation for Ultra-violet processing of potato.

In recent years a number of items has been brought out to the stage of mass production. The following ones are among them:

• installation for drinking water purification of different productivity;
• filter elements with nano-structured membrane;
• installation for disinfection of infected materials;
• aerosol filters for NPP;
• radionuclide removals for domestic animals.

Nowadays many scientific projects are being implemented:

• search fields for using ultra-dispersed (nano-) oxides (chlorides, nitrides, hybrid) of fusion Pb, Pb- bi, Ga;
• development of new technologies for ozonization of gaseous, liquid media and agricultural production;
• development of new sensors for metallurgy;
• study of physical-chemical properties of new sorbents (tripoli, buckwheat husk);
• development of safety (antidetonation) devices for NPP facilities of VVER type;
• production of tools for NPP hydrogen safety system;
• research base for obtaining aerogel of mono-hydrite of aluminum oxide.

In 2003 some other projects will be implemented:

• Regional Exhibition Center ,
• Russian Technology Transfer Network;
• Franco-Russian Technological Network.

There are many customers such as departments and enterprises of RF Ministry for Atomic Energy, AtomStroyExport, clinics etc.

OCST is located in a two-story building with total area of l200sq.m.

The exhibition of new technologies developed by Obninsk high tech enterprises is successfully represented. There are more than 100 scientific developments which are of great interest for Russian and foreign specialists. More space is available.

• Conference room for (70,40) seats;
• 2 rooms for negotiations for 10-20 seats each;
• research laboratories;
• computer center.
